Two country gals at Wishy Washy Washateria are awash in soap, suds, and cheatin’ hearts and turn a laundromat into a honky tonk, and wrongdoings into revenge, in this hilarious new musical from Virginia Rep. Swish to music by Carrie Underwood, Reba McEntire, Dixie Chicks, Dolly Parton, Pam Tillis, Tammy Wynette, Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline, and other talented women.
Legend’s 29th Anniversary Party
July 22, noon to 8 p.m., at Legend Brewing, Richmond
The grandpappy of Richmond craft beer is throwing a party, with live music, food, games, prizes, food, beer, and a memorable view of the James River and downtown. Music includes the Great Richmond Pipe and Drums. FREE, food and drink for purchase.
Christmas in July: Kismet Makers’ Market
July 23, noon to 5 p.m., at Starr Hill Beer Hall & Rooftop, Richmond
