Repair, Refuge, & Resilience: Work from the 2022 Narratio Fellowship
Opening reception, July 28, 6 to 9 p.m., at Artspace’s Elisabeth Flynn-Chapman gallery, Richmond
Narratio supports the creative expression of displaced young people. The art communicates through a variety of contexts, media, and languages. “I Am Because We Are” consists of works representing the shapes of their stories and intwinements of experiences, feelings, and understanding across stories, combined in a mobile mural highlighting the collective representation of intersections across their life experiences. Through Aug. 19.
