A free, day-long music festival with classical musicians serenading historic local neighborhood venues, plus yoga, children’s activities, wine tasting, happy hour, costumes, and more.
Harvest Fest
Oct. 29, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden, Richmond
A festival vibe at the Garden with live music, food, adult beverages, and family-friendly activities, like pumpkin-carving demos, scary story time, and fairy-house building. German fare includes bratwurst, warm pretzels, beer cheese soup, and German potato salad.
The Taters Halloween Show
Oct. 30, 7 p.m. at the Tin Pan, Richmond
The Taters Halloween Party. The Richmond fan favorite band presents its Halloween show, filled with surprises as well as songs from its own Halloween CD, “DON’T SCREAM” and other classics to keep you up at night. You may not scream, but you WILL smile.
“Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner”
Nov. 1 to 6 at Studio Theatre at Richmond Ballet, Richmond
World premiere of this ballet performance addresses intolerances faced by interracial couples and highlights the fortitude, simplicity, and beauty of love.
