Join them at the 2018 Charity Hot Stove Banquet, dinner at the Siegel Center, featuring ESPN’s Karl Ravech, proceeds to Renovating Richmond’s Recreation for youth baseball fields. Hey, did you know that Ellwood Thompson’s not only provides wholesomely delicious food but also music!? Check out Carol CovellThursday, Jan. 25 from 5-7 p.m., or Brian Caperton, Friday, Jan. 26 from 5-7 p.m. Then stock up on your vegan organic seaweed tofu protein whey.

What goes better with beer than a conversation on consciousness and death? I know, Twisted Ales Brewery can’t think of anything better either. That’s why they’re hosting Brains, Beer, and Death (but not in that order), for beer with a side of intriguing dialogue. Friday, Jan. 26 from 7 to 10 p.m.

Well, we didn’t get Billy Joel, but it feels like we did. Check out The Music of Billy Joel Featuring Michael Cavanaugh, A.K.A. the man who Billy Joel himself deemed “the next Piano Man.” And hey, BOOMER got to talk to him! Saturday, Jan. 27 at 8 p.m. at the Carpenter Theatre.

The Virginia Home Show is back again! And as usual, that means home improvement help, remodeling suggestions, garden ideas, creative décor, and hundreds of other ways to make your home that much cooler. Saturday, Jan. 27-Sunday, Jan. 28 at the Farm Bureau Center at Meadow Event Park.
