Picture sipping on a classic brunch cocktail in a city that adores brunch, and using a Mimosa Trail mobile passport to guide your way. A classic Mimosa cocktail, that delicate blend of orange juice and sparkling white wine, makes a bright pairing with brunch dishes like chicken and waffles, omelets, and shrimp & grits.

Richmond Region Tourism has rolled out a free mobile passport to support the Richmond Region Mimosa Trail, which launched in 2023.

After checking in at five locations on the Trail, users can earn a complimentary Richmond Region Mimosa Trail purse hanger or other exclusive swag.

The Mimosa Trail is the first-of-its-kind in the country, say Richmond Region Tourism leaders. It’s designed to spotlight the diverse culinary landscape of the region and encourage patrons to explore various neighborhoods and support more than 40 local establishments.

You can enjoy your brunch tipple at a variety of venues, including Hofheimer Rooftop, Savory Grain, Hanover Tavern, Millie’s, Helen’s, Hotel Greene, The Daily, Perly’s, Fancy Biscuit, Bar Solita, The Jefferson, and more.

Users earn 50 points for every establishment they visit. After visiting five places and accumulating 250 points, the user can receive a handbag hook. Prizes are claimed at the Richmond Region Tourism Visitor Center located at the Robinson House adjacent to the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. For those unable to visit in person, prizes can be mailed to participants.
