Walk along the top of the floodwall in Manchester with the James River and downtown Richmond before you. The tours are led by knowledgeable guides who will explain historic landmarks and their importance in the development of our city.
These floodwall tours are free and they leave from the Richmond Railroad Museum at 102 Hull St., Sundays at 2 p.m. Tour dates: April 9, May 14, June 11, July 9, August 13, September 10, October 8. It is suggested that you wear comfortable walking shoes.
The tours are sponsored by the Old Dominion Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society, Inc., a voluntary, non-profit Virginia educational organization.
