Join Anne Poarch, author of “Flight” on Saturday, April 21 from 3-4pm at the south side of the T. Tyler Potterfield Bridge for an afternoon of poetry reading in celebration of Earth Day and National Poetry Month.
“Flight” is a collection of 48 free verse poems that explore the author’s experience of joy, grief, loss, and maturation through the vehicle of the four seasons and motifs of butterflies, robins, and other aspects of nature.
