GA5K – Glen Allen Fun Run

The GA5K will be a 5 kilometer race held in conjunction with the Glen Allen Day festivities on Saturday September 23, 2017. The race will start at 8:00 AM in Crump Park/Meadow Farm at 3400 Mountain Road in Glen Allen, VA. Proceeds from the race will support Glen Allen High School clubs, athletic teams and student scholarships. The GA5K is open to anyone. Run, job, walk, strollers allowed.
RACE FEE: $15 advance, $10 of which you designate to a GAHS club, team, organization of your choice. List of 57 groups provided during online registration process. $25 race day, all directed to a scholarship for a GAHS senior. Register https://runsignup.com/Race/VA/
RACE COURSE: The race begins inside Crump Park/Meadow Farm and continues along the historic Mountain Road Corridor. A detailed description and map of the race course is available on the race website. The race is followed by the Glen Allen Day parade and festival. Race lineup will be at 7 a.m. with a prompt race start of 8 a.m.
PACKET PICK-UP: Race packets MUST be picked up at Glen Allen H.S. Thursday 9/21/17 or Friday 9/22/17 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Use the main office entry and proceed to the community room. GAHS students will be able to pick up packets during their lunches on Friday 9/22/17. There will be NO packet pick-up on race day!
IMPORTANT: Packets contain your race bib for timing purposes and your parking pass for parking purposes. Race held rain or shine. No refunds will be given as this is a school fundraiser.
