On Tues, 6/13, join Kelly Johnson, author of “A Better Man”, for the second installment of the Hull Street Library’s “Books for a Better World” series (1400 Hull St, Richmond, VA 23224). The event will feature a talk, Q&A with the author, and refreshments from 6:30-7:30pm. This event is free and open to the public.
A Better Man features first-person narratives from some of the most respected and engaging men in America today. It seeks to set a good example for young men in a media-saturated culture that places enormous emphasis on physical appeal, material wealth and celebrity status. With sincerity, humor, and directness, each essayist shares their experience and advice on courage, service, anger, respect, and a host of other topics.
