Richmond Folk Festival 2024

The popular annual RVA cultural festival returns in its 20th year, featuring folk artists who hail from as far away as Indonesia and Colombia, as well as from Virginia and D.C., presenting the cultural music and dance of their roots – and riffs on roots. Plus plenty of folksy vendors with products and food. Shuttles offered, too.
State Fair of Virginia

A beloved tradition continues, with midway, entertainment, exhibits, competitions, livestock and horticulture, shopping, food, and fun.
Atomic Light Orchestra – A Tribute to ELO
Sept. 28, 8 p.m., at The Tin Pan, Richmond
Reproducing the sound of the Electric Light Orchestra is a tough task, but these musicians have captured the waves.
Festival of India
Sept. 28 and 29 at the Greater Richmond Convention Center, Richmond
Classical and modern Indian live performances, East-West fusion dance and music, alongside Indian cuisine, including vegetarian and non-vegetarian delicacies, such as dosa, kachori, samosas, tandoori chicken and sweets, supplied by local Indian restaurants and families, prepared fresh.
