Richmond jazz musicians join to fight ALS, in honor of jazz artist Charles Mingus. Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, aka Lou Gehrig’s disease, progresses rapidly, causing muscle weakness, difficulty speaking and swallowing, and other debilitating physical changes. All concert proceeds benefit the ALS Association.
