Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox “Life in the Past Lane.” A blend of modern-day earworms and iconic pop hits with the original styles that put American popular music on the map: ragtime, swing, big band, country / western, doo wop and soul. Friday at the Museum: The Clarke-Palmore House. Learn about Henrico County’s people, places, and events through tours and hands-on activities at historic museums and homes. This tour interprets the story of the family that lived in the house in the 1930s. Dec. 1, noon to 4, at the Clarke-Palmore House, Henrico.
RVA Illuminates. Tree lighting and illumination of the downtown skyline, plus live performances, food trucks, and a showing of the 2018 “Grinch” movie at 7 p.m. FREE. Dec. 1, 4 to 7 p.m., at Kanawha Plaza, Richmond.
Say Goodbye to The Funkhaüst. Industrywide, the interest in wild and spontaneous beers has declined, so The Veil Brewing is reducing its wild and spontaneous beer program.
