Virginia Arts Festival Williamsburg Live
Friday, June 17 through Sunday, June 19 at 7 p.m. each evening on the Lawn of the Art Museums of Colonial Williamsburg.
Food trucks and live music for three nights. Williamsburg Live features Mandy Moore, with special guest Ahi (Friday), Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit (Saturday), and “An Evening With Martina McBride” (Sunday).
Festival of the Arts Presents: Legacy Band
Friday, June 17 at 8 p.m. at Dogwood Dell, Richmond
The Legacy Band is cool, but what might be cooler is that this is the kickoff for the 65th Festival of the Arts, which has been held at Dogwood Dell since its opening in 1956. Wow, how time flies!
Firefly Festival
Friday, June 17 and Saturday, June 18 from 9 until 11 p.m. both nights at High Bridge Trail State Park (Camp Paradise entrance), Farmville
Stand on the high bridge and watch a galaxy of fireflies light up the night. There are limited tickets available to this annual spectacular.
Virginia Spirits Sampler
Saturday, June 18 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. at The Diamond, Richmond
Sample Virginia’s best spirits and custom cocktails, plus live music, lots of food, and more. Enjoy responsibly.
Jesus Christ Superstar
Runs from Tuesday, June 21 through Sunday, June 26 at the Altria Theater, Richmond
Featuring award-winning music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Tim Rice, Jesus Christ Superstar is set against the backdrop of the events during the final weeks in the life of Jesus.
