What's Booming in Richmond: Ghosts, Acrobats, and Time Travel
Bit of an ominous weekend ahead, it appears
Putting creativity into the form of crafts? Why, that sure sounds like the Craftsmen’s Classic Spring Art & Craft Festival to me. Art, décor, jewelry, pottery, snacks, gifts, and so much imagination. Friday, March 13 through Sunday, March 15 at the Richmond Raceway Complex.
All weekend, dozens of Richmond’s favorite historical spots (we’re talking Agecroft Hall, The Branch Museum, and The Valentine, just to name a few) are saying “hello!” to guests, and “good bye!” to admission fees. That’s right, it’s Time Traveler’s Weekend, baby. Saturday, March 14 through Sunday, March 15. See site for participating locations.
Golden Dragon Acrobats: Cirque Ziva features a collection of Chinese acrobats, bending and dancing in ways you didn’t even know the human body was capable of. Get your wows ready. Saturday, March 14 at 2:30 and 7 p.m. at the Cultural Arts Center of Glen Allen.
That historical 1887 Trinity Church has plenty of stories built up in its walls – some of which may be more than just memories … An Evening of Paranormal Investigation at Historic Trinity Church, Saturday, March 14 at 7 p.m. at Historic Trinity Church.
St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner, but perhaps the days filled by Guinness and green whiskey are long over. You can still honor that lovely country o’ Ireland though – might we recommend some fiddles, harps, and melodic soloists from the Celtic Woman Celebration themselves? Sunday, March 15 at 3 p.m. at Altria Theater.
Please note: some events may have been postponed or canceled. See website for event confirmation.
