RVA Time Machine: Saturday Shopping

By Boomer Staff | August 25th, 2016

BOOMER flashes back to the corner of North 25th and Marshall streets in Richmond.

tbt_n-25th-st-richmondAlong N. 25th Street, two women are dressed up from head to toe in their ‘Sunday Best’ to go out shopping or run errands on a Saturday. Also note the theatre’s sign (down the block and just to the right of the two women) announcing that it’s “Air Conditioned”–that’s not something you see these days.
